Woman’s scooter stolen

    A Brighton woman reported to police that her scooter was stolen from her apartment complex parking lot sometime between New Year’s Eve and Jan. 4.
    The 28-year-old woman told police that she noticed the scooter, a red Honda Metropolitan scooter, missing the morning of Jan. 4, from the parking lot in the 100 block of South 18th Ave. The scooter was valued at about $1,000.
    Police have no suspects or leads in the theft.
