Volunteers needed for Help for Homes

Posted

Brothers Redevelopment Inc., the city of Brighton and Brighton Housing Justice host the fourth-annual Help for Homes for seniors and the disabled. Volunteers will come together May 9 to paint or fix up homes needing minor exterior repairs.

They are recruiting teams of volunteers (eight to 10 per team) to help. Teams will paint, repair, clean yards or whatever other projects are needed for the selected homes. Teams can be from a church, a neighborhood, club or a family.

If people have the skills and time but no team, they can contact Brothers Redevelopment Inc. and they will hook them up with a team.

Call Sue or Ermie at 303-655-2075 or Rhonda Hill at 303-202-6340, ext. 4211. The deadline to volunteer is April 27.
