BRIGHTON — A teenage girl apparently escaped serious injury after they struck by a car Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened near Fourth Avenue and Jessup Street. Few details about the accident were available but the teen, who was transported to Platte Valley Medical Center, did not appear to be seriously injured.
