Lewis
Danielle and Shaun Lewis, of Brighton, announce the birth of a daughter, Leyah Juslynn Lewis.
She was born Dec. 16, 2009, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. Leyah weighed 10 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 23 inches.
Grandparents are Doug and Verlene Montgomery, of Brighton, and Ed and Terry Lewis, of Erie. Great-grandparents are Verhn and Marlene Heintz, of Henderson, and Les and Donna Schissler, of Brighton. Great-great-grandparent is Leah Heintz, of Brighton.
Leyah is welcomed by siblings, Jaeyln, 5, and Kaeleigh, 2.
Ruis
Cassandra and Jason Ruis welcome a daughter, Brianna Elizabeth Ruis.
She was born Dec. 20, 2009, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. Brianna weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19 inches.
She is welcomed by big sister, Caylee Ruis.

She was born Dec. 20, 2009, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. Jessica weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 19 ½ inches.
Grandparents are Jeanette Katherine and Kreg Lynden Burke, of Erie.
It is her first child.
Carbajal
Janet Huscher and Jose Cruz Carbajal, of Brighton, welcome a daughter, AnnaBella Del Rosario Carbajal.
She was born Dec. 21, 2009, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. AnnaBella weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20 ½ inches.
Grandparents are David Huscher, of Dacono, Gary and Janell Gilliand, of Parachute, Teodoro Carbajal, of Firestone, and Teresa Zuniga, of Brighton. Great-grandparent is Doris Tabor, of Thornton.

Audelia and Ryan Armstrong, of Brighton, welcome a son, Royce Douglas Armstrong.
He was born Dec. 22, 2009, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. He weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 20 inches.

Yepez-Cuevas
Maribel Yepez and Sijifredo Cuevas, of Brighton, have a new daughter.
She is Cristal Cuevas, who was born Christmas Day at Platte Valley Medical Center. She measured 20 ½ inches and weighed 8 pounds 0.5 of an ounce.
Grandparents are Pablo Yepez and Maria Drellano, of Brighton; and Benjamin Cuevas and Maria Costco, of Henderson.
Maribel joins sister Jocelyn at home.
Roussin-Rhoades
The first member of the family of Catherine Roussin and Thomas Rhoades, of Brighton, is a Christmas Day baby.
Rockie Augustus Rhoades was born at Platte Valley Medical Center.
His grandparents are Rhonda Selders and George Roussin, of Grand Junction; and Sylvia Anita Salmonson, of Brighton. Grandparents Gerda Ramstetter and Thomas Rhoades are deceased.
Sena-Shull
Jessica Sena, of Brighton, and Justin Shull, of Commerce City, welcomed a new daughter just after Christmas.
Alize Rae Renee Sena was born Dec. 26, 2009, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. She weighed in at 6 pounds 1 ounce.
The grandparents are Sophia Sena, of Brighton, and Gene Sena, of Commerce City; Camilla Elder, of Thornton; and Dave Shull, of Commerce City.
Alize joins Justin Jr. (4) and Roman (2) at home.
