    Jessica Carmichael, of Brighton, and Ruben Casas, of Commerce City, announce the birth of their son, Ruben James Casas.

    Ruben was born Jan. 20, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 20 inches.

    Ruben’s grandparents are Olivia and Lorenzo Javalera, of Brighton, and Maria and Miguel Casas, of Commerce City. His great-grandparents are Cloefas and Salvador Amaro, of Brighton.

Suazo-Tonche

    Joseline and Raymond Suazo, announce the birth of their daughter, Katelyn Ailany Suazon-Tonche.

    Katelyn was born Jan. 21, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 20 inches.

    Katelyn’s grandparents are Yaris and Juan Tonche, of Commerce City, and Eledys Galva, of Denver.

    It is the couple’s first child.
