    Katie and Lee Brill, of Berthoud, announce the birth of their daughter, Nahla Hazel Brill.

    Nahla was born June 30, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

    Ashley Powell and Elijio Johnston, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son.     

    He was born at Platte Valley Medical Center July 12, 2010 and weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces.

    Grandparents are Trisha Powell, of Brighton, and Zoila Johnston, of Fort Lupton. Baby boy joins brothers Josiah Gonzales and Elijio Johnston at home.

Sanders

    Haley and Jonathan Sanders, of Commerce City, announce the birth of their daughter, Alexa May Sanders.

    Alexa was born July 13, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches.

    Alexa’s grandparents are Bruce Sanders, of Firestone, John and Teri Rush, of Boulder, and Steve and Jeanette Hansen, of Commerce City.

    Alexa joins her brother, Jaxson Caleb, at home.

Rendon-Barner

    Megan Rendon and Christopher Barner, of Brighton, announce the birth of their daughter, Mary Ruth Rendon-Barner.

    Mary was born July 13, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches long.

    Her grandparents are Paula Rendon and John Rendon, of Brighton, Angela Anderson, of Maryville, Tenn., and Phillip Barner, of Englewood, Tenn.

    Mary is the couple’s first child.

Hanson-Wright

    Ashley Hanson and Taylor Wright, of Keenesburg, announce the birth of their daughter, Izabella Aaron Wright.

    Izabella was born July 14, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 5 pounds, 6 1/4 ounces.

    Grandparents are Paul and Ruth Nagy, of Keenesburg, Todd Hanson, of Evergreen, Michelle Wright, of Westminster, Royce (Butch) Wright. Great-grandparents are Buz Wright and Melody Wright, both of Northglenn.

    Izabella is the couple’s first child.

    Maria D. Reyes and Sergio Martinez, of Fort Lupton, announce the birth of their son, Sergio Martinez, Jr.

    Sergio was born at Platte Valley Medical Center July 14, 2010. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.

    Grandparents are Jose Reyes and Perfecta Reyes, both of Fort Lupton, and Juana Gaytan, of Mexico.

    Sergio is welcomed by siblings Simon and Jeniffer.

Simpson

    Amanda McCluskey, of Brighton, and Jesse Simpson V, of Fort Lupton, announce the birth of their son, Noah J. Simpson.  Noah was born July 19, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center.  He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 19 1/4 inches.

    Noah’s grandparents are Yolanda McCluskey, of Brighton, Bob Moffett, of Brighton, Tami Vasquez, of Fort Lupton, and Rudy Vasquez, of Brighton.

    Noah joins siblings Dante, 12, Jadyn, 7, and Jordyn, 10, at home.

Kunz

    Shawna and Greg Kunz, of Brighton, announce the birth of their daughter, Sloan Lillian Kunz.  Sloan was born July 19, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center.  She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches.

    Sloan’s grandparents are Jackie Walters, of Brighton, Jack and Debbie Walters, of Broomfield, and Linda and Jerry Kunz, of Brighton.  Her great-grandparents are Wavadeen Walters, of Brighton, Marge Lancaster, of Bennett, and Gregory Kelly, of Papillion, Neb.

Morgan

    Amanda and T.J. Morgan, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son, Aaron Paul Morgan.  Aaron was born July 20, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center.  He weighed 8 pounds, 7 3/4 ounces and measured 21 3/4 inches.

    Aaron’s grandparents are Paul and Vicki Storz, of Independence, Mo., and JoAnn and Myles Morgan, of Tenn.

    Aaron joins siblings, Corban, 8, Will, 5, and Brennon, 2, at home.

Sandoval Martinez

    Veronica Martinez and Victor Antenio Sandoval, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son, Liam Sandoval Martinez.  Liam was born July 21, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center.  He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches.

    Liam’s grandparents are Mariam Andrade Sigala, of Nochistlan Zacatecas, Mexico, Enedina Martinez, of La Salle, and Senan Martinez, of La Salle.

    Liam joins siblings Kaitlyn, 7, and Tyler, 14, at home.

    Hannah and Richard Martinez, of Glendale, announce the birth of their son, Zion Michael Martinez.  Zion was born July 22, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center.  He weighed 7 pounds, 6 1/4 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches.

    Zion’s grandparents are Valerie and Miguel Munoz, of Thornton, Ron and Holly Montour, of Denver, and Alma Rose Martinez, of Brighton.  His great-grandmother is Bernadette Cordova, of Denver.

Schmidt

    Julie and Jon Schmidt, of Aurora, announce the birth of their son, Curtis Daniel Schmidt.  Curtis was born July 22, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center.  He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 20 inches.
