One injured in I-76 wreck

COMMERCE CITY – One person was injured seriously Thursday night after a collision on Interstate 76 near Sable Boulevard.

Details on the accident are sketchy. Greater Brighton Fire Protection District Chief Mark Bodane said a medical helicopter took the person to Denver Health Medical Center.

The highway was closed for a short time so authorities could investigate the accident.
