BRIGHTON – A Brighton man who skipped out on an earlier sentencing date is due back in court July 22.
Daniel Martinez plead guilty to a vehicular eluding charge stemming from a chase through Brighton almost a year ago. His original sentencing date was July 13, but he didn't show up.
The sentencing range Martinez could draw for the vehicular eluding charge is two to six years plus three years’ parole and a fine of between $2,000 and $5,000.
Martinez led police on a chase from a fast-food restaurant through downtown Brighton. Martinez was arrested on Main Street.
