Man found dead in unincorporated Adams County

A man was found dead inside a second-floor apartment in unincorporated Adams County Monday night. His name hasn't been released pending notification of relatives.

Deputies responded to a report of shots fired call at 10:45 in the 7500 block of Broadway when they found the victim, according to Sgt. Candi Baker. Witnesses said they saw three masked men running from the area after the shots were fired. There are no descriptions.

An autopsy is pending. Anyone with information should call the sheriff's office at 720-322-1313.
