    During the weekend of June 5 and 6, the Brighton Elks and the Little Britches Rodeo Committee were proud to present to the citizens of Brighton and Adams County the first junior rodeo since 2003.  

    It was a great success, which provided two days of great entertainment, thrills and spills, good food and lots of fun for everyone who attended.

Approximately 45 contestants from 5 to 18 years of age participated in one of America’s oldest sports and traveled from as far away as Sheridan, Wyo., to participate.  

    The Brighton Elks would like to send out a special thank you to all of the individual people, the many businesses and to the city of Brighton and Adams County who helped sponsor this year’s effort. Without your generous contributions, we could never have made this dream of bringing back a youth rodeo to Brighton and Adams County a reality.
