Posted

After a courageous battle against breast cancer, Judith Ann (Wall) Holl, 58, passed away Jan. 18, 2011, with her family by her side at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb.
She was born June 23, 1952, in Denver, the only daughter of Harlan and Lois (Ehlen) Wall. Judith attended college at Concordia College in Seward, Neb., where she studied education. Judith met her husband, Byron, when she was home over a school break. They were united in marriage Nov. 4, 1972, in Brighton. A year later the couple made their home in Gibbon, Neb.
Education was always very important to Judith and she was proud that all of her children attended college and several have gone on to earn advanced degrees. She was a dedicated teacher who home-schooled her children, as well as taught and served on the school board of Shanan Academy in Gibbon for more than 15 years.  In 1992, she and Bryon founded Hollman Foods and were active members in Nebraska’s small business community. Judith took great pride in the business, and the work that she put into it.
Judith enjoyed spending time with her large extended family. She is survived by her husband, of Gibbon; nine children and their families, Leah Jones, of Des Moines, Iowa, and her children, Jordana, Nathaniel, Gabriella and Avi; Hannah Rogers, of Des Moines, her husband, Will, and their daughter Ariella; Keren Fiorenza, of Chicago, Ill., and her husband, Joseph; Isaiah Holl, of St, Paul, Minn.; Jedidiah Holl, of Des Moines, and his wife, Kathleen; Hadassah Holl, of Des Moines; Havvah Holl, of Chicago, Vered Holl, of Davenport, Iowa; and Shoshanah Holl, of Des Moines; her mother, of Brighton; and brothers, Steven Wall, of Stockton, Calif., and Brian Wall, of Denver.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Burial will be made in St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery, Lowell Township Cemetery, Shelton, Neb.
