U.S. veteran Harold L. McGuire, 89, of Brighton, died June 1, 2010.
Harold was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Colfax, Wash. He enlisted in the Army less than a month after the attack on Pearl Harbor and was stationed in England, France and Belgium as a staff sergeant in the Army Air Corps.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Neil, Connie and Susan; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and a brother.
Memorial service was June 4 at Inglenook Retirement Community in Brighton. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
