Frank Marion Totusek

    U.S. veteran Frank Marion Totusek, 85, died Jan. 30, 2010.

    He was born March 4, 1924, in Odessa, Wash., to Frank B. and Mary M. Totusek, the oldest of six children. Frank served in the United States Navy during World War II and was stationed as a medic in Glenwood Springs. He met his wife Aline “Blondie” M. Brinkmeier during his tour of duty. Frank and Aline were married 44 years when she died in 1990. He later married Marie Floyd. He was raised a hard-working farmer and later worked as a coffee bean roaster/manager for Millar’s Coffee Co. and as a warehouseman for King Soopers for more than three decades. He remained a Teamsters Local 435 member until his death.

    Survivors include his second wife; daughter, Jolene Smith; two granddaughters; six great-grandchildren, of Brighton; sister, Carol (Chuck) Barmore, of Lake Livingston, Texas; and brother, Paul Totusek, of Everett, Wash.

    A celebration of life will take place in Odessa. Burial will take place in the Bohemian Cemetery in Odessa.
