Posted

GREELEY – A Fort Lupton woman was sentenced to four years in the state Department of Corrections for her part in a collision that killed a Brighton woman last summer.

Angelica Bujanda received credit for 244 days already served. She also was sentenced to a year in the department of corrections for aggravated driving with a revoked

license. The sentence runs concurrent with the four-year sentence.

Bujanda plead guilty in March to criminally negligent homicide. The collision was on U.S. Highway 85 near Fort Lupton. Bujanda turned in front in front of another car. The driver of the car, Crystal Herman, of Brighton, died.
