David Petty

   David Petty, 86, of Brighton, died June 21, 2010.

    He was born Jan. 10, 1924, to Murray and Glennie Petty in Arkansas City, Kan. Dave worked as a truck mechanic for Western Paving Construction.

    Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Brighton; three sons, Douglas Petty, of Boulder,

Donald Petty, of Bird City, Kan., and Dale (Cindy) Petty, of Brighton; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Memorial service is 10 a.m., June 25, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton.
