Cleofas Abeyta, 88, of Brighton, died April 30, 2010.
She was born April 17, 1922, to Nabor and Louisa Verciaga in Rociada, N.M.
Survivors include sons, Louie, Eddie, and Tony Abeyta and Simon Cedillo; daughters, Dora Calderon, Helen Gonzales, Marge Martinez and Rosie Ramirez, 42 grandkids; 74 great-grandkids; and more than 30 great-great-grandkids.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Jose David Abeyta; two brothers, Jerry Verciaga and Manuel Bustos; two son,s David and James Abeyta; and a daughter, Carmen Ulibarri.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m., May 6, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m., May 7 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1955 Jennifer Court, Brighton. Graveside service is at 11:15 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Brighton. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
