BRIGHTON - Police need the public’s help in identifying a man they want to question in regard to an alleged Aug. 2 sexual assault.

Police said the assault took place the morning of Aug. 2 in a Brighton park.

The suspect, who identified himself to the victim as Luis or Louis, is described as a Hispanic man, about 19 years of age, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with a thin build, light-colored skin and short brown hair.

Police said the suspect did not have a beard or mustache but may have had a light growth of razor stubble. Police released a composite sketch of the suspect as well.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Brighton Police Detective Paul White at 303-655-2324.
