BRIGHTON — So what makes Creative Results Styling Salon, 979 E. Bridge St., different?

Shelly Mettler the owner of Creative Results, feels her salon has a different atmosphere than others.

“This is a salon not a day spa. There is no drama, and the stylists do things with integrity and the way the customer wants them done,” Mettler said. She also noted that if the product the customer desires is not carried in her salon, she will special order it to give the customer the best experience possible.

Shelly is a native of Brighton and a graduate of Brighton High School. She is a color specialist and hair stylist. Part of Shelly’s team, Glenyce Simpson, one of the nail technicians, enjoys serving her clients and loves what she does. Nance Crumley, hair stylist and previous owner, specializes in wig styling and extreme hair colors.

“We have a lot of fun here and looks forward to making her clients stand out if that’s their desire,” she said.

Adell Heitman, nail tech and hair stylist, met one of her clients, Rose-Ann Dietzler, a six-year resident of Brighton, by mistake.

“She made an appointment at a different salon and, as luck would have it, I ended up at Creative Solutions,” Dietzler said. “ I am glad she made the mistake. I could not be more happy with the people here. They are very helpful, accommodating, and they do things the way I want them done. I come every two weeks to get my nails done with an occasional hair cut as needed.”

Cindy Marsh is the hair stylist Saturdays and teacher of the hair program throughout the week at Ridge View Academy for Boys in Watkins. All hairstylist and nail techs have 20-plus years of experience and offer facial waxing, perms and styling. They have four hair stations and two nail stations. Haircuts for men start at $18; women start at $30. All cuts include shampoo, conditioning cutting and styling. Colors start at $50. Dietzler said this salon is reasonably priced and everyone here wants to make the customers’ experience with them affordable and fun.

Even though the business commissions 80-plus people per week in hair cuts alone, Mettler feels they could handle more clients but is always looking for ways to provide the best customer service possible.

This salon carries Onesta, Nioxin, Kenra and ISO Hair care products, and it is offering a half-off sale on ISO Hair care products. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except appointments for those that need to come in after business hours. The salon also sells jewelry and other accessory items.

Call 303-659-2955 to schedule an appointment.
