Ben W. Davis

U.S. veteran Ben W. Davis, 87, of Brighton, died Feb. 4, 2010.

    He lived in Brighton for the last 20 years.

    Survivors include is wife, Iva, of Brighton; children, Bev (Don) Baker, of Rockford, Ill., Bonnie (Tom) Davis, of Columbia Falls, Mont., Ben (Vicki) Davis, of Hudson, and Glen Davis, of Hudson; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bob Davis, of Waynesville, N.C.; and sisters, Mary Novotny, of Winner, S.D., and Sarah Mitchum of Lowell, N.C.

    Services are pending. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
