American Title Services opened its fifth metro-area branch this week with its new office in Brighton at 1300 Bridge St.

    Cheryl Talley, vice president of American Title Services, said the company was looking to expand strategically throughout Colorado and the Denver area.

    “Brighton is a wonderful market and fits the way our company does business,” Talley said. “It is very important to us that we are a part of a community and be active and friendly neighbors.”

    Talley noted that the real estate market grew 122 percent between 2000 and 2007. She also referenced the area’s potential thanks to developments such as Prairie Center and the arrival of Vestas.

    “Brighton is not a bedroom community but a self-sufficient city and is just a short commute to downtown,” Talley said. “It is the best of both worlds, and we see potential in Brighton.”

    Aryn Lallas and Brenda Peters are new additions to the American Title team and will work in the Brighton office.
