Valedictorian Alfredo Figueroa-Flores is going to Yale to study architecture. He received his diploma from Michelle Steinberger, assistant principal.

Salutatorian Angel Garcia-Corona is going to Vassar to study computer science and received his diploma from Janet Estrada Adams, 14 Board of Education.

Melanie Normany received her diploma and flowers from the Adams 14 Board of Education, Renee Lovato, president; Janet Estrada, vice president; and Maria Zubia, secretary.

The graduates are in line to receive their diplomas from Tina Johnson, assistant principal.

During the special portion of the ceremony, the grads moved the tassels to the left, threw the caps in the air, and officially graduated from high school.

Adams City High School Eagles left the nest, soaring into the future on what lies ahead for 325 students receiving diplomas on Saturday, May 20. Adams City High School is a dual language school speaking Spanish and English. To start their lives, numerous students are going into college, tech schools, the military, and the workforce.
