Luxury homes going up in Fort Lupton

Developers behind a luxury housing development targetting Fort Lupton invited residents to come and select where they want their next home built.

Eastman Properties will build the first Epcon community in Northern Colorado, called the Courtyards at Lupton Village in Fort Lupton. The project calls for 27-lots units of luxury ranch homes with private courtyards on South Rollie Avenue.

"After starting my real estate journey, I came to the realization that the 55+ market has been tremendously under-served. I knew there had to be a way to capitalize on this market – and that's when I found Epcon," said David Krafsur, owner and managing member of Eastman Properties. "I thought to myself, I want to do something that makes people happy, and what better way to do that than with beautiful homes with amenities that appeal specifically to your demographic."

The company hosted a lot selection meeting on July 12, allowing prospective buyers to pick out which lots in the development they want to build on.

Krafurs said that to attract the 55-over market toFort Lupton, he plans to develop a 27-unit community with open floor plans, high ceilings and large rooms for entertaining that would be near the heart of Fort Lupton, close to restaurants and a mall.

The homes cost between $450,000 to $500,00 each with a homeowners association taking care of the shrubs and shoveling snow. He hopes to complete the project by the fall of 2023. For the next couple months, Epcon will concentrate on reserving individual lots for buyers and beginning work.

"It will be in a quiet place with conveniences nearby," said Kristel Acre, RE/MAX. "The people are friendly and welcoming and, you will feel like a part of the community. EPCON is famous throughout the United States and we are to the fort Lupton community, it's the symbiotic nature of this project."

Epcon, a company focused on developing lifestyle homes for high-end customers is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio.

Builders Magazine rated Epcon sone of America's largest home builders with innovative designs and modern amenities in 2017.
